This is a copy of the instrument held at the Ashmolean museum in Oxford. Instead of double course strings it has six single strings like a conventional guitar and standard tuning - so making it easier for the classical guitarist to play.
Spruce top. Mahogany neck and sides. Mahogany and maple back. Ebony headstock plate, fret board and bridge. Walnut and spruce rosette. Bone nut. Traditional wood peg heads for tuners.
